Environmental Health Laboratory and Trace Organics Analysis Center

The Environmental Health Laboratory (EHL) tests air and other samples that are important for understanding human exposure and environmental health. We support many fields of study through our focus on chemistry, quality and lab technology available through our Trace Organics Analysis Center (TOAC). TOAC provides a fee-for-service platform where investigators can access consulting, analysis and instruments.

TOAC and EHL are co-located in the Roosevelt One building and our analysts work on a wide range of topics ranging from industrial hygiene, material science, engineering and environmental science. EHL acts as a nexus between departments, PIs, staff and students. This provides a continual opportunity for impactful science, building relationships and strengthening project outcomes.
